What I Will Do Tomorrow

My Video Find!

Okay that was amazing. And I like her voice: (Its Tina Yamout)

Public Education and TARP

I'm just 5 years old but I'm old enough to know what stupid is. It costs the United States $562 billion to educated every single kid in the U.S. That's including adult education as well. I got that from Fast Facts. My math might be off a little, or maybe a lot, but ANYWAY. So now schools are eliminating music teachers, library teachers, and a whole lot of other fun teachers because of budget cuts. And even the school hours are being cut because everyone.. well stupid grown ups that is, are saying that it is too much money to be spending on kids. Something to do with taxes and what not, which I have no idea about. But then today my mommy taught me a new word called bullshit. She said it's all bullshit because of something called the TARP bailout which cost 700 billion dollars and was paid to only ten people in Wall Street for ruining the economy. That is stupid. I don't know why not too many people think that it is stupid.
Do feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
This is a picture of me in Amsterdam waiting for my flight. I miss travelling!

My Bathtub.

I really want this for my birthday. My birthday is on March 5th.
It's carved out of quartz that was found in Brazil.

I Want to Live HERE!

So many beautiful places!

And to the boring grown ups who will say: omg those first 2 pictures are not even real: well for a 5 yr old, the fine line between real and fantasy is practically non existent.

Post #200: Ameena Mirza Qazi and Blueberry Girl

Last night I attended a lecture that Ameena Mirza Qazi gave. Ameena Mirza Qazi is the Deputy Executive Director and Staff Attorney for the Council on American-Islamic Relations-Greater Los Angeles Area Chapter (CAIR-LA), AND she's a hijabi fashionista! I love her scarves! I looked through google and saw amazing pictures of her and her scarves. I'm still not sure if I want to be an artist, or a lawyer, or a pilot, or a teacher- but whatever, I'll wear the prettiest of scarves!
Check out the pretty picture of me and her!

Yes, I know, the quality of the picture is horrendous! I really need a new camera. She talked of our role as Muslims and I think it's awesome that she said there is no 'us' and 'them.' My mommy says that all the time. Even Tariq Ramadan said that. Here is a snippet of the lecture. I apologize for the quality of the video!

Afghan Fashion Show 2010

Zolaykha Sherzad is amazing! She's an Afghani fashion designer and I love her creations! I just wish she made something for my age. There really is nothing out there for a 5 year old girl. Just jeans jeans jeans. Bleh!

These are some of her stuff as well:

Afghanistan Photo Shoot 1968

The pictures were taken by Fred J. Maroon in 1969.

Oh La La!

So Chic! So 1965.

Those were amazing times.

Here is an Afghan fashion designer who owned a boutique in the 60s. Her name was Safia Tarzi. I wonder what happened to her.

This picture makes me

happy!!

It used to be an amazing place. Afghanistan I mean. Check out some pictures:

That's a picture of Kabul University in 1970. So long time ago.

And these pictures are from 1978 and 1979. They're so pretty!

It must've been hard being black and white all the time. At least now they learned to put color in stuff. Okay I'm kidding.
Check this out:

The world is filled with such pretty places!
