Rattlesnake Mountain

Somewhere far away, there lives a witch called Rattlesnake Witch. She waits until sunset and then turns hikers into boulders. Want proof? Go up the trail on Rattlesnake mountain and see all the poor hikers. Anyway, I went hiking a few days ago and I had so much fun. The view from up there is awesome. We can see Rattlesnake lake. The town of Moncton used to exist there like about 100 years ago. But it's all gone now... it drowned like a rat.
Here we are checking out how far our hike is. It was 2 miles up. (I think. Never take my word on things like distance and the quality of rice puddings. I fib and make up stuff like you wouldn't believe.)

Here is Rattlesnake mountain behind us, and that's the lake that drowned the town. And that's our bestie Atia.

It was such a pleasant day!

We were SO high up!

We tried to feed the chipmunks.

I love hiking! We're lucky that there are so many spots to hike in.
